Over the past few weeks, I have found myself setting certain pieces aside. Not because they were the most valuable or the most obvious, but because there was something about them

A small, carefully curated sale of around 120 lots. Each piece has been chosen individually, with no collections or large groupings, just individual pieces or small, thoughtfully grouped selections, each with its own presence.

These are objects that suggest a life behind them. Something collected, something kept, something that marked a moment in time. A connection, a gift, a memory. The kind of pieces that draw you in without needing to say too much. For each lot, we have taken a little extra time to add a few lines, sometimes explaining what the piece is, sometimes sharing a little history, and where possible, a sense of the story behind it. Moving the sale online allows you to do the same. To take your time, look more closely, read, and decide what speaks to you without the pace of a traditional auction room.

Our usual live auctions will, of course, continue as normal. But if this feels like something you enjoy, we would love to make these smaller, curated online sales a more regular addition alongside our larger sales throughout the year.
